Jerry Strennen

Jerry Strennen is the creator of Deer Camp Stories; comics and editor of the Deer Camp Stories; web site. Jerry has always been an avid artist starting at an early age. He is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. Jerry is an art teacher and a pottery instructor. He has worked in the printing industry and has worked on various printing machinery. He has done free lance artwork and illustrations.​

Jerry is a husband to wife Lorie, and has two children; Abigail and Zachary.

Jerry is a hunting and fishing enthusiast. He is very passionate about hunting and the outdoors. Jerry started hunting at the age of twelve and has been hooked ever since. His father James Strennen, founded the Daily Bread Hunting Camp in Elk County, Pennsylvania in 1972. After his father's passing in 2005, Jerry took over his "Captain' of the camp position at the Daily Bread Camp. 

It was the time, experiences, and most of all the diverse members of the camp that inspired Jerry to design and create Deer Camp Stories; Comics and this web site. The creation of this site is a fulfillment of a dream of his to do a project with his art and many experiences in the "Great Outdoors".
